Videodelic is a real-time animation synthesizer for creating dynamic, moving, kaleidoscopic art from still images, QuickTime¬ movies and live video input by interacting with them in real-time under mouse, MIDI or audio control. Videodelic's highly optimized special effects engine lets you play its dazzling special effects in real-time for spectacular multimedia performances, or you can use the Montage Room to create a Videodelic sequence. By manipulating Videodelic's effects and display modes, even simple images can be transformed into mind-blowing, hallucinogenic animation.
REQUIREMENTS
Power Macintosh with system 7.5 or later and 32 megabytes or more of RAM. Videodelic can run in a 24 megabyte partition. If you have a large number of images in your project, you should increase the memory assigned to Videodelic.
Videodelic requires a monitor of at least 800 X 600 pixels.
GETTING STARTED
Videodelic is easy to use. However, since it is a new kind of program you will probably need a bit of help getting started. With this demo version we have included the QuickStart Tutorials and Overview chapters of the manual in pdf format as well as our interactive guide to Videodelic's user interface.

What is included on the CD
In addition to Videodelic and its documentation, the Videodelic CD is full of sample Videodelic projects that demonstrate Videodelic's effects and various real applications of them. In addition, we have supplied a number of MIDI programs that can be used to control Videodelic or to cusomize MIDI control of Videodelic. Be sure to check out RaveMatic and AutoDice, two applications which will create real-time Videodelic performances on their own. RaveMatic also provides powerful additional audio control.

Fact Machine ─ - These are Videodelic montages created by Eric Wenger (and one by Raphael Elig) and were used for a full-length Videodelic concert. All of the montages feature full-length soundtracks created solely with our music apps (MetaSynth, MetaTrack and Xx).
